Spring is here and car events are in full swing! Car meets are happening, racing season has resumed, and the biggest event of the year for the Mid-Atlantic 86 Club is this month, the Annual Car Show! March 2024

We are busy! Full steam ahead on the big event coming up in April, the annual car show! This year is going to be epic, with over $1000 in raffle prizes, in addition to fun you’d expect and the excellent car show. We are partnered with DASH to the Rescue again and we hope to raise even more money for homeless animals this year. Just because the car show is the big thing doesn’t mean that March doesn’t have its own share of events. In addition to our biweekly meets and monthly meets (that already have had huge attendance!), we have our first Beltway Cruise of the year coming up. Always a popular event, sometimes even more so for the milkshakes at the starting/finish location! Be sure to check our events section for details on everything we have coming up!

February 2024

We are off to a strong start! Even though it’s the “off season”, we’ve had some of our biggest biweekly and monthly meet turnouts ever! Also, with our calendar set for this year, we have lots of interest in two of our bigger events, Back of the Dragon and BOXERFEST. Many members have already purchased tickets and booked their rooms for these two epic trips!

Our first official event of the year, the Indoor Go Karting was an absolute blast and we had 30 drivers competing. Razor thin qualifying margins, grid start races, and trophies for the winners made it an unforgettable night, so much so that we’ll be trying to do it again 2-3 more times this year so continue to stay tuned. We’ll have a Beltway Cruise in March, but excitement is really building for our car show on April 14th!

Our webstore is live!

We have finally finished the transition of our webstore from being hosted by Etsy to right here on our main webpage. Brand new products and we are open to suggestions and feedback of our items and designs. We have priced everything so the club makes $5 per item sold and covers fees. We have flat rate shipping of $8 per item. Rock some merch and support the club!

This year has been a huge year for the club; We incorporated as an LLC this year and our car show was a huge success (video below). We were able to raise +$500 for DASH to the Rescue and hope the show is even bigger and better next year! We are already planning for 2024 (check out the events section).
