MD EVENTS

Adam joined the club in 2023 with his 2nd generation Subaru BRZ. He may be the defacto admin in Maryland but the wonderful thing about Adam is that he is just as active at Virginia events. You can usually pick his car out of the sea of blue BRZs by looking for the cleanest car in the lineup (some say he washes his car too often!). He can also be found at local autocross events and the occasional track day. If you have any questions about the club or events, he’s definitely the guy to ask!

AMBASSADOR

Alex has been a member of the club since 2015 and owns a 2013 FR-S in Hot Lava. She has served as the liaison to one of the club’s most popular and repeated meeting locations, Pub Dog. Having been involved in club administrative activities since 2016, she primarily contributes in a supportive capacity within the club. She is typically found at events at Pub Dog and occasionally at other club events. Over the years, this club has evolved into a close-knit community.

PRESIDENT/OWNER

Brandon Kyker first joined the club in 2014 when he purchased his Monogram Scion FR-S and has been an active member ever since. Brandon went from active attendee to organizing biweekly meets to eventually managing the entire club and its business aspects. He is annoyingly passionate about the car and club (he wants everyone to try autocross!) and hopes you’ll meet him in-person at club events, compete against him in the club iRacing league, or drive with him at local motorsports events! He loves the club and hopes you’ll love it too.

MEMBERSHIPS/MOTORSPORTS/IRACING

Carlos joined the club in 2017 after having bought his Scion FR-S Release Series 1.0 in 2015. Shortly after joining the club he started autocrossing and in 2019 he started going to the track, eventually becoming an SCCA instructor and lap record holder. He is known as the guy that asks all club newcomers about motorsports and tries to be approachable to everyone. Any day of the week you'll find him wrenching on his car fixing yet another broken part after a track weekend or at a club events. Besides racing and club events, Carlos helps manage the club’s iRacing League on Tuesdays and is an avid sim-racer.

Pierre is one of the club admins and part of the unofficial welcoming committee (i.e. the person who probably waved at you already!). He’s been a part of the club since August 2022, and in that time has been to more events than he can count, and created events the club does annually now.

Pierre loves that we have more than just meets in parking lots. We have things like iRacing and even motorsports events as well and loves making sure there is something for every member to enjoy.

He’s all about good vibes, big smiles, and making sure everyone feels at home in the club. Whether you’ve got a question, need a hand, or just want to chat, he’s always around and happy to help. Seriously, don’t hesitate to come say hi to him!

FOUNDER

Tarron first joined the club in 2013 and has remained a founding member ever since. Tarron was a military brat born in Germany and he's been a motorsports enthusiast for more than 30 years. He races and participates in SCCA events throughout the region with his 2013 Scion 10 Series FR-S and he also travels annually to Deal's Cap (Tail of the Dragon). Known as the “I know my car” guy, he is most well known for his ability to drive on extremely low fuel levels, even as far as offering other club members an accurate DTE (“distance to empty”) based on fuel level and current speed. Tarron spent a dozen years as an assistant service manager in the automotive industry so he possesses a high level of knowledge in all things automotive. With his long tenure in the club, he has seen a lot of people come and go and sometimes likes reminiscing about the “old days”. Strike up a conversion with him, I’m sure he could tell you a fun fact or story about other OG club members!
